LINGERIE which will play a starring role in the raunchy film Fifty Shades Of Grey will be on show in a Durham pub next week.

The John Duck pub in Claypath is to host a lingerie fashion show and burlesque evening on Wednesday to give Durham’s men a chance to buy something for their loved one in time for Valentine’s Day.

The show has been organised by local businesswoman Annette Keelty, owner of Lingerie By Annette, and among the ranges on show will be the latest BlueBella designs, the brand chosen by the makers of Fifty Shades of Grey which is out on general release on February 14.

Pub manager Jo Ferry said: “Customers now are very choosy about when they come out and what they want from a night out.

“A lingerie fashion show with some entertainment will not only be a good night out but different from the usual."

Annette Keelty, a former midwife who set up her lingerie company three years ago, said: "It is an ideal time to show the latest in fashion lingerie.

“There will also be an opportunity to buy at the event so the men can see what they are buying - and the women can get the right size.”

The event takes place on Wednesday, February 11 with fashion show at 8pm followed by burlesque entertainment at 9pm.
