Industrial estate blaze
A LORRY and a van were destroyed in a fire on an industrial estate last night (Monday, January 5).
The blaze caused several explosions but firefighters had the situation under control.
The alarm was raised at 9.29pm and a fire crew from Durham arrived at the Littleburn Industrial Estate at Langley Moor to find the vehicles alight outside one of the units. Another crew was called to help extinguish the blaze.
Police also attended the incident.
