SUNDERLAND fans can watch the Tyne-Wear derby from the Stadium of Light.
The club will open the stadium’s bars and lounges to fans not travelling to watch the action at St James’ Park and the match, scheduled for Sunday, December 21, will be screened live.
Entry with a drink and breakfast roll costs £7.50, entry with a full English breakfast and drink is priced £16.50 and private boxes are available with a full English breakfast, priced £27.50.
Free parking is available. Doors open at 9am and kick-off is 1.30pm. The stadium will close at 4pm.
Gary Hutchinson, Sunderland’s commercial director, said: “The derby is the game that everyone looks forward to and by opening the stadium we are aiming to give as many Sunderland fans as possible the opportunity to watch the game and enjoy the derby day atmosphere with their fellow supporters on home turf.”
