A RUGBY club has announced a partnership with a technology company as it continues to revitalise a North-East stadium.
Darlington Mowden Park rugby club took over the 25,000-seat Northern Echo Arena in 2012, following the departure of Darlington FC after a fans' takeover.
The rugby club has signed a three-year partnership with YC Business Solutions, whose well-known high street shop Yarm Computers is part of a larger group of companies.
The partnership represents the most recent addition of a growing list of local and national firms who are supporting Mowden.
YC Business Solutions managing director Paul Alsop said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Mowden Park RFC and happy to be part of the growth plans that the club has.
"The club’s forward thinking attitude toward embracing modern technology as well as the strong family ethos meant that it was an easy decision to get involved.
"The stadium is a fantastic facility within which to showcase our work and I look forward to building a long term relationship with the club.”
Lee Rust, Mowden Park managing director, added: "YC Business Solutions represent the end of another lengthy tender process for us.
"Putting in place these partnerships is a key part of our strategy to make the arena sustainable and grow thereafter.
"More than 15 companies were involved in a process where we have looked at both the current and future technology requirements on several fronts.
"We’re delighted to be working with a local company that embodies much of our family ethos, but who are also capable of supporting some quite demanding needs going forward."
