A TEESSIDE comedian ignored the chilly winter weather to pull on his shorts to plug his summer show at his favourite venue.
Patrick Monahan has played more than 300 gigs around the world this year but is looking forward to playing the Crypt in Middlesbrough Town Hall next June.
“I think I need a scarf more than sunglasses at the moment but I’m already looking forward to playing the Town Hall next summer,” he said.
“I play literally hundreds of gigs a year,” added the comedian, who grew up in Redcar and Stokesley. “But the Town Hall is the gig that always stands out a mile for me.
“It’s a proper homecoming gig as far as I’m concerned, more like a massive party and a huge catch up amongst friends.
Patrick Monahan: Adventures in Monahan Land is on at the Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt on Saturday, June 13 at 8pm.
