A FORMER Art Deco cinema will show films again for the first time in decades after being brought back to life for the next generation.
The Majestic, in Bondgate, Darlington, is showing festive films at 4.30pm every day during term time in the run up to Christmas.
For years, the building housed the Odeon cinema before being used as a snooker club for more than 20 years.
The iconic 1930s building has been restored by managing director Sharon Branch and her team of local tradesmen and now houses Magic and Mayhem Soft Play.
Ms Branch also has plans to transform the upper floors into a restaurant and live performance area, with work starting next year.
