POLICE have released images of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of a shopping bag in McDonalds.
It happened between 1.30pm and 1.45pm on Saturday, May 24, when a shopping bag was stolen from the restaurant, in High Street West, Sunderland.
Police investigating have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to who was in the area at the time and may be able to help with their enquiries.
Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 0894 24/05/14, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
The appeal comes during Northumbria Police's Operation Soundwave, aimed at tackling suspected thieves and burglars across the force.
