A DARLINGTON man was flown to hospital after falling from a motorcycle in Northumberland.
The North-East Air Ambulance was called to an inaccessible area near Ashington at 1.45pm after the 20-year-old fell from the off-road machine.
"The patient was attended by NEAS paramedics who requested the help of the Great North Air Ambulance. The man was assessed by the aircrew doctor before being flown to Wansbeck in three minutes," said a spokesman for the air ambulance.
