SANTA CLAUS is coming to a North-East town for a fundraiser this weekend, and there is still time to take part.
There are just a few days to go now until the St Teresa's Hospice fun family run at West Park Academy, in Darlington, on Saturday (December 6)..
Anyone still wishing to enter is encouraged to call the hospice, as soon as possible, to book a place.
Registration will also be open on the day of the event, but participants should make sure to arrive in good time.
The first run starts at 10am, and runners will get a special treat as they’re accompanied off the start line by a team of unicycling reindeer.
There will also be festive stalls, games and other attractions, including rides from Carnival Funfairs, a teddy tombola, cake stalls, retail stalls and Santa’s grotto.
Registration costs just £10 for ages 16+ and £5 for ages from five to 15, with under fives free
Entry forms are available from St Teresa’s Hospice and its shops, by calling 01325-254321 and from darlingtonhospice.org.uk
All entrants aged over 16+ will receive a Santa suit provided by Darlington Rotary Club, and will be entered into a special prize draw to win a £100 spend at Morrisons Darlington.
Anyone who would like to enter is encouraged to raise sponsorship, but there is no minimum sponsorship target to raise.
