TEES Valley Wildlife Trust will be holding a festive event on Saturday, December 6 at Portrack Marsh from 10am until 3pm.
The urban nature reserve will be the scene for activities for all the family, including the opportunity to celebrate Tree Dressing Day. The Trust's volunteers will be using a range of materials to celebrate and enjoy trees and raise awareness of their value. Activities will take place behind the Talpore and include a Gruffalo hunt, bushcraft and winter walks.
Look for Gruffalo’s friends mouse, squirrel and fox, build a den, make a winter feeder or enjoy a walk with River Tees Rediscovered project staff looking for lapwings, herons and kingfisher.
