HOSPICE supporters took on an extreme obstacle course to raise money.
More than 60 people crossed tough terrain, scrambled over straw bales, scaled climbing walls and crawled under nets and through tunnels in the Battle It challenge at Hamsterley Forest earlier this month.
They were thanked for their efforts in tackling the challenging 5k course which raised £2,000 for Butterwick Hospice.
Helen Kirby, community fundraiser for the hospice, said: “This was a great event which encouraged team work and camaraderie.
“We are proud to announce that Battle It raised over £2,000 and we would like to thank Johnny Harrison and Rob Proud from Battle PT for arranging this event and also everyone that took part.”
