A FITNESS instructor is helping people bounce their way to good health thanks to a new fitness craze.
After starting life in the US, boogie bounce extreme has made its way across the pond to BoxFit Gym, in Banks Road, Darlington.
The high-energy classes, led by instructor Clare Hope, involve bouncing on specially designed mini-trampolines to music to lose weight and tone up legs, bums and stomachs.
Ms Hope said the classes have been extremely popular since their launch around three weeks ago.
“The feedback has been amazing, it has really taken off. It is so much fun and is a really effective was of burning calories and toning up legs, bums and tums,” she said.
“It is a full body workout and people have already lost weight from it. I have lost ten pounds from doing the classes.
“It is really good for everything and there is no age limit – anyone from children to people over 70-years-old can do it.”
The gym is offering a discounted membership of £10 for five weeks, ending on December 31, and includes entry to any fitness classes, with monthly membership starting from £9.99 from January 1.
