Two women cut free from car
Fire crews freed two women trapped in a car after an accident on Elstob Lane at Great Stainton - between Sadberge and Sedgefield - this evening.
The alarm was raised at 6.34pm and crews from Sedgefield and Newton Aycliffe attended.
Both women were released using hydraulic cutting equipment and were assessed at the scene by ambulance personnel.
Fire crews were at the scene for an hour-and-a-half.
