STAFF at a North-East flooring business are getting into the Christmas spirit to raise money for charity.
On Monday, December 1, staff at 24 Frank’s The Flooring Stores across the region will host festive fundraising events to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As well as wearing fancy dress, including Christmas jumpers, staff will be holding cakes sales to raise vital funds.
Money raised on the day will also be matched by the store.
Mike Copeland, business development manager at Frank’s, said: “It is fantastic that the stores are getting involved across the North-East and everyone has got into the Christmas spirit to raise money for Macmillan, a fantastic charity which does so much good for people throughout communities across the country.
“Most people know someone who has been affected by cancer, many of whom may have had support from the fantastic nurses employed by Macmillan Cancer Support, so we are happy to see stores getting behind this day and raise money for this great cause.
“This started as a kind thought and truly shows the spirit of Christmas.”
