ONE of the winners of a competition to find the best Tour de France cycling snaps is leaving his legacy to his local school.
Steven Cooper has donated his winning photograph to the primary and nursery school at Bainbridge in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
And it will now go on permanent display in the building to mark the big day when the race came through the village.
More than 20 budding photographers entered their cycling images into the Richmondshire District Council contest.
The authority wanted to see photos of people having fun with their bikes - whether of the Tour De France race itself, before, after or even just at home.
