THIEVES in North Yorkshire have stolen £65,000 of chocolate and fudge from a business park.
The chocolates were stolen between 2pm on Saturday, November 1 and 6.30am the following day from premises on Hornbeam Park, Harrogate.
The thieves stole chocolate Honeycomb Nuggets, All Butter Fudge, Salt Water Chocolate, Truffle Fudge, New Ultimate Collection Butter four per cent Fudge, New Ultimate Collection Coconut Ice, New Ultimate Collection Vanilla Fudge, New Ultimate Collection Rum and Raisin Fudge, Iceland Butter four per cent Fudge, Gourmet Dark Chocolate Ginger Tub and Hope, Greenwood Sea Salt Caramel Fudge and Mr Stanley’s Cocoa Dusted Almonds.
The total value of the stolen items is estimated at approximately £65,000.
PC Quita Passmore, of Harrogate Priority Crime Team, said: “If you have been offered any chocolates matching description of the ones which were stolen in unusual circumstances, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Hornbeam Park area around the time of the burglary and ask them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
