A DOZEN people were arrested in a series of drug raids on the North Yorkshire coast earlier today, November 19.
Specialist officers swooped on a number of addresses in Scarborough in the early morning and arrested 11 men and one woman.
Police said all 12 – aged between 30 and 64 – were suspected of being concerned in the supply of heroin and are now being held in police custody for questioning.
The arrests were part of Operation Impact, a continuing operation to tackle drug dealing in the town.
