POLICE have arrested four men in connection with a robbery which left a man with a fractured skull.
The men aged 22, 38, 41 and 47, who are all from Northallerton, North Yorkshire, were arrested on Saturday, November 15, on suspicion of robbery in connection with an incident in the town between midnight and 1am on Tuesday, November 11, on Valley Road, near the junction with Central Drive.
They have all been released on bail to allow for further police enquiries.
As a result of the incident, a 43-year-old Northallerton man suffered serious injuries and was treated at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. He has now been released.
Detective Inspector Shaun Page, of Northallerton CID, said: “Although we have made a number of arrests following this incident, we are still investigating the circumstances surrounding it and how the man suffered his injuries.
“If you have any information which could help this enquiry, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.”
