APPLE pressing and pottery making were just two of the attractions on offer at a Christmas fair at the weekend.
The Clervaux Trust held its annual festive open day at Clow Beck eco farm, in Croft, near Darlington, on Saturday (November 15).
Farm animals, including tinsel-clad Shetland ponies and goats dressed as reindeer, welcomed visitors to the farm.
Operations manager Mark Snowball said the event had been a major success and raised a large amount of money for the charity.
He thanked the 20-strong team of volunteers and staff who had helped make the event a success, particularly Lone Helliwell, who did most of the organising.
Mr Snowball said: "Events like this are massive. We're operating in a difficult financial climate and everything we raise is put back into supporting our work."
The trust supports young people by teaching them farming, craft and baking skills at the eco farm and popular Clervaux Bakery, in Darlington.
