POLICE officers raided a house in the Pierremont area of Darlington today (November 14) to shut down a cannabis factory.
As well as seizing hoards of plants of the Class B drug, officers also took away equipment used for growing and cultivating the plants.
The special operation was launched by Darlington Neighbourhood Policing team who acted on intelligence to secure a warrant to search the property.
At the time of going to press no-one from the team was available for further comment.
