THE work of Red Cross auxiliary hospitals in the region will be explored during a First World War talk at the Durham Light Infantry Museum, Durham City, on Saturday (November 15) at 2pm. Tickets for “Home Comforts – the work of the Great War auxiliary hospitals in the North Riding”, given by Red Cross volunteers Anne Wall and Eileen Brereton, cost £3, plus museum admission charges.
