A NORTH-EAST rugby club has announced the continuation of its partnership with a firm of accountants.
Darlington Mowden Park rugby club has announced that its sponsorship from Stockton firm Baines Jewitt will continue for another year.
The extended support will help Mowden Park continue on its journey as it faces the challenge of a National League 1 rugby.
Mowden moved into The Northern Echo Arena following the departure of Darlington FC in 2012.
Following a merger in 2004, Baines Jewitt has established itself as one of the largest chartered accountants in the Tees Valley.
Baines Jewitt partner Trevor Cooke said: "We are delighted to sponsor the first team for the 2014/15 season.
"Last year was the first time that we had sponsored the team and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and being part of the Mowden family."
Lee Rust, the club's commercial director, added: "Over the past year, the partnership with Baines Jewitt has developed into a very positive relationship.
"The re-signing of sponsors and partners is a great marker for us as a club and one that indicates we are doing things correctly.
"Their continued support is playing a huge part in the success of both the arena and the club."
