A MAN who was captured on CCTV defecating on a bus seat has been cautioned following a police appeal.
Thousands of people shared the story via social media after information was released by Northumbria Police, the images going viral on the internet.
A spokesman for the force said today (Monday, September 29) that a 63-year-old man had been arrested and released after being cautioned for criminal damage.
The bald, bespectacled man was caught on camera on a bus in Newcastle city centre on Thursday, August 21.
He was sitting upstairs on the bus as it passed through Grainger Street.
