RECOMMENDATIONS from residents living in the Bellway development at Castle View in Skelton have resulted in a flood of sales.
“I have had a number of people buying new homes recently as a result of friends or relatives already living here and recommending Castle View as a great location,” said Eugenie Noonan, the development’s sales advisor.
“I currently only have two two-bedroom apartments left for completion in October, but we have recently released for sale three four-bedroom Stourton-style homes.”
Amongst the recent buyers are Natalie Pluck, 24, a selfemployed photographer who has been living with her parents at their Castle View home for the last three years.
Natalie and her fiancée are now buying a two-bedroom second floor apartment at the development.
“I’ve been living here with my mum and dad and really like the area.
“My fiancee and I wanted to get our own place so we looked at renting a property elsewhere.
“In the end, we felt we could get the best deal here at Castle View, especially now that Help to Buy is available and we only needed a five per cent deposit.
In the long run it makes far more sense to buy rather than rent, our mortgage is not much more than the cost of renting and we are far better off owning our own home,” said Natalie.
Two-bedroom apartments at Castle View start from £84,995, with larger family homes such as the four-bedroom Stourton priced from £159,995.
Visitors to Castle View can view the Warren showhome to see the quality of build and the range of additions that Bellway offers buyers to help them personalise their home.
