A NORTH-EAST theatre will host an evening of reflection and rousing performances to commemorate the anniversaries of World War One and Two.
The British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra is bringing the Last Night at the Proms to Darlington Civic Theatre on Monday, July 28 to commemorate the centenary of the First World War and the 75th anniversary of the Second World War.
Joining the 33-strong orchestra will be international tenor John Hudson, and soprano Anna Clare Monk, who will perform a range of music from the periods, including traditional songs as well as film and classical music.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £18 and £20.
