POLICE have renewed their appeal to trace a van driver who may be able to assist with an investigation into a collision which caused the death of a 36-year-old woman.
Keri Holdsworth, from the Edinburgh area, died in the incident, which happened at about 4.30pm on Friday, June 13 on the A19 northbound at the junction with Dalton Piercy.
She was driving a Renault Clio when the collision took place, which also involved a dark blue BMW 5 series estate.
Cleveland Police are still keen to speak to the driver of a light coloured or white van which may have been using the Dalton junction at the time. It is believed that the van was within the central reservation area at the Dalton junction, looking to travel northbound on the A19.
The driver is asked to contact PC Mark Pearson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting reference number 100435.
