POLICE are attempting to trace a missing man who may be somewhere in the York area.
Robert Dane, 33, from Holbeck, Leeds, was reported missing on Tuesday, June 24, and police say they are “very concerned” for his welfare.
Although he lives in Leeds, he is known to have connections with York and officers believe he could be in that area.
He is described as about 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. He has short dark hair, a full beard and wears glasses.
Detective Inspector Sean Duggan said: "It is out of character for Robert to go missing like this and his family are understandably concerned for his welfare.
“We are urgently appealing for anyone who has seen him or who has any information on his current whereabouts to contact us immediately."
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Special Operations Room at Leeds District HQ via 101.
