SINGING sensation Jessie J won the hearts of thousands when she invited one of her biggest – and youngest - fans to join her on stage.
Six-year-old amputee Angel Sutton joined the star on stage at Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre for a rendition of hit song It’s My Party.
Angel, who lives in the resort, had her left leg amputated because of a genetic condition when she was just nine-months-old, and despite enduring seven major operations since, is due to have her right leg amputated this summer.
Jessie also spent half-an-hour chatting and eating treats with Angel who was accompanied by her close friend Beth Hiley.
Angel’s mum Tina Sutton said: “Jessie is a truly genuine person; during their time together she sang to Angel, asked her what her favourite song was and talked to her about the problems with her legs.
“Without doubt though, the delight of the night was when Jessie asked Angel to go on stage with her to sing her favourite song.
“The whole experience has made an absolute world of a difference to Angel as she has been able to meet Jessie before her big operation later this summer.”
