Councillor Neil Foster and Crook Hall owner Keith Bell launch the Durham Tourism Superstar Award
TEN people are battling to be named County Durham’s tourism superstar – and it’s up to you to choose your favourite.
Visit County Durham (VCD), in association with Visit England and The Northern Echo, is seeking to showcase the best in customer service offered to visitors to the county by awarding a new honour, for County Durham’s Tourism Superstar.
Following the award’s launch in April, a ten-name shortlist has been drawn up and will now go to a public vote.
