THE family of a woman who died in a car crash in County Durham have paid tribute to her.
Ashleigh Quinn, from Sedgefield, was travelling in a blue VW Polo when it left the A177, between Coxhoe and Sedgefield, and collided with shrubs and undergrowth at about 12.30am on Monday (June 23).
In a statement, her family said: “Ashleigh was a fun loving daughter, granddaughter and sister who will be sadly missed by her family, friends and everyone who knew her.”
A 24-year-old man, from the Bishop Auckland area, also travelling in the vehicle, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Witnesses should call Durham Police on 101.
