MONSTER trucks are revving up and getting ready for the popular Fire Engine and Vintage Vehicle Show which will take place at Preston Park.
With a combined weight of twelve tonnes, Big Pete and Grim Reaper will thrill the crowd with jumps, stunts and displays in the museum’s grounds in Stockton.
The Bolddog Lings motorcycle stunt team, as seen on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, will be staging stunts alongside a range of rescue and pumping displays from local fire fighters on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, from 11am to 5pm..
Michael Murty, Truck Operator and Director of Big Pete Ltd, said: “We have a great show ready for the Fire Engine and Vintage Vehicle Show – the monster trucks and their drivers are ready and raring to go.
Councillor Ken Dixon, Stockton Council's cabinet member for arts, leisure and culture, said: “The Fire Engine and Vintage Vehicle Show provides a day packed full of family fun in the fine setting of Preston Park Museum and Grounds. We hope everyone will come along to join in the fun.”
The show is supported by Stockton Borough Council and volunteers from Teesside Airport Fire Engine Rally (TAFER).
A donation will be made to The Fire Fighters Charity who provide services to enhance the quality of life for serving, and retired, fire service personnel and their families.
Entry costs £5 and £2.50 for children, payable on the gate.
