THE Irish children’s laureate, Eoin Colfer, enthralled pupils at a Teesside school when he took to the stage to talk about his work.
Mr Colfer, who wrote the Artemis Fowl books, spent the morning at Yarm School where he inspired the youngsters to develop their own creative style.
The author, who was announced as the third Laureate na nÓg (CORR) Ireland’s laureate for children’s literature this year, also discussed his other popular works including Half Moon Investigations, The Wish List, The Supernaturalist, and a series of Eoin Colfer's Legends.
He said: “I will keep writing until people stop reading or I run out of ideas. Hopefully, neither of these will happen anytime soon.”
