A MAN appeared in court yesterday charged in connection with an incident in a Darlington supermarket.
David James Errington, 32, of Lismore Drive in Darlington, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court charged with taking a mobile phone worth £50 during a burglary at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College in Darlington on April 28.
Mr Errington is also charged with assaulting a police officer and stealing goods from Morrisons at Morton Park in the town on June 20.
No pleas were entered and the 32-year-old was remanded into custody to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (June 26).
