GOLFERS still have time to swing into action for charity.
A charity golf day will be held at Ramside Hall Golf Club, near Durham City, on Wednesday (June 25), in aid of the Tiny Lives Trust, which supports the special care baby unit at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Club captain and North-East businessman Kevin Maddison has donated a £4,000 Rolex watch as one of the prizes.
“I have seen first-hand the important work that Tiny Lives do.
“We hope that this event will raise thousands of pounds for this great local charity,” he said.
Teams of up to four are welcome and non-golfers are encouraged to act as caddies.
