IT'S a case of "fur we go, fur we go, fur we go" as far as England fan Charlie the pooch is concerned.
Charlie has been given a special "petriotic" hair-do in support of England's bid for World Cup glory.
The three-year-old shih tzu enjoys watching football matches with owners Gary Reed and Jo Adams, who live in Teesville, Middlesbrough.
And the couple decided to give Charlie a fetching red, white and blue look in time for England's campaign, which started with a 2-1 defeat against Italy at the weekend.
Jo explained that the lovable pet goes for a styling session at Betty Brown's Beauties dog parlour, in nearby Eston, every six weeks but this time she fancied something different to mark the World Cup.
"People seem to love it – he's always getting beeped by passing cars and cheered by England fans. You've got to get behind the lads," said Jo.
"Charlie sat and watched the first game with us but went to his bed when Italy scored their second goal. Hopefully, our luck will change against Uruguay but the chances are that the dye will last a lot longer than England in the World Cup."
