A MAN has appeared in court charged with eleven historic sexual offences.
Philip Leigh Rudd, of Bridge Street in Brough, Cumbria, has been charged with seven counts of indecently assaulting a girl under 14 in Darlington in the 1990s.
He also faces a further four charges of inciting a girl under 14 to commit an act of gross indecency.
The 34-year-old indicated not guilty pleas to all the offences at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates Court today (Wednesday, June 18).
District Judge Martin Walker committed the case to Teesside Crown Court on Wednesday, July 2. He was granted unconditional bail.
