A CHARITY is inviting people across the region to put their best fancy-dressed foot forward for a fundraising stroll.
St John Ambulance recently launched two fundraising events - the Superhero skydive, taking place throughout the summer, and the Superhero stroll, in September.
The charity is challenging people to gather their friends, colleagues or classmates and sign up for the stroll
They can step out in style in their favourite superhero costume – from a comic book T-shirt to a full-on shiny bodysuit – and take a sponsored stroll to raise money and help the charity continue its work.
Fundraising co-ordinator Siobhan Sargeant said: "Do you like a nice view? Why not stretch yourself with a 10km walk through an area of natural beauty. It’s up to you.
"Just make sure you look the part in your best superhero costume and get sponsored, and you can’t go wrong! Anyone can take part, and you can choose a date in September to suit you, so get in touch with us now to sign up."
The September stroll will run alongside the charity’s annual Save a Life September awareness campaign.
