THE HUMAN League are to headline a summer music festival during its tenth anniversary celebrations this year.
The band, best known for their hits Don’t You Want Me and Mirror Man, will headline the Galtres Parklands Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend, August 22 to August 24, at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, North Yorkshire.
The Human League, who recently released their ninth studio album Credo, will be supported on the Sunday night by contemporary electro act Public Service Broadcasting, currently away on a US tour.
They will be joined on Friday by the Levellers and Bellowhead. Saturday’s headliners are still to be announced.
John Otway, Martin Stephenson, The Men They Couldn’t Hang and York’s Chris Helme, former frontman of the Seahorses, are amongst other acts due to play.
