Sedgefield folk night takes on Irish flavour
A POPULAR folk night will return to Sedgefield in County Durham on Friday, March 14, with a distinctly Irish flavour. Sedgefield Folk Club will present top acts Steel Strings, Broadband, John Wrightson Band and Ernie Gilchrist at Sedgefield Cricket Club from 7.45pm. Tickets cost £10, including a buffet, and are available from 01740-621347.
STORY SESSION: The children’s book Shark in the Park will be the focus of the next Toddler Tales and Trails sessions at Hardwick Park near Sedgefield, County Durham, on Wednesday, March 12, and Saturday, March 15. Sessions take place on each date from 10am to 11.30am and 1pm to 2.30pm. Tickets cost £4 and must be booked and paid for in advance. Contact 01740-621505.
