SMALL Businesses across Richmondshire still have time to get help with increasing their business turnover and job creation.
Richmondshire District Council set up a £30,000 business grant scheme last year to help support small business with up to four employees.
Councillor Russell Lord said: “So far we have only allocated £15,200 to 18 local businesses so we still have plenty left to give. I would urge and encourage local small businesses to take up this offer.
“The maximum grant is for £1,000 for up to 75 per cent of the total project costs for capital or revenue projects such as purchase of machinery, ICT equipment, marketing, and training. “It is not for general business running costs.
“The pot is not exhaustive so will be on a first come first serve basis.”
