THE Northern Echo is launching a competition giving readers the chance to win a cash windfall of £1,000.

Starting in March, our monthly cash giveaway will run every month throughout 2014.

Tokens for the March giveaway will be published in the paper from Saturday (March 1).

For your chance to win, simply cut out the tokens, collect them and send in 25 along with full contact details - your name, address, telephone number and email address.

You can send in as many sets of 25 as you like, giving you more chances to win.

Lucky winners will be free to spend their cash however they like – perhaps it will lend a hand with household bills, maybe the deposit for a new home or car or a form a chunk of someone’s Christmas shopping budget.
