Nile Ranger
A FORMER Newcastle United footballer will go on trial today charged with rape.
Ex-United striker Nile Ranger, who now plays for Swindon Town, will appear at Newcastle Crown Court.
The 22-year-old, from London, denies raping a woman at a Newcastle hotel in January last year.
