YOUNGSTERS from a youth dance group had the chance to learn from the professionals during a ballet workshop.
Ten members of ArtsSpark Youth Contemporary Dance group took part in the workshop with cast members from the BalletBoyz (correct) company.
The workshop, led by cast members Edward Pearce and Matthew Rees, took place at Hummersknott Academy.
Dancer and choreographer Debbie Waistell, who leads the weekly youth dance class at Hummersknott, said the workshop was a chance for students to be inspired by a dynamic young company.
Mr Pearce, who joined BalletBoyz in 2010, said: “One of the things I love about being a member of the company is that it doesn’t feel like I work for a living, which is the best thing you can ever hope for from a career – it feels like I’m realising my passion and having a great time.”
