A CANCER charity is launching its annual daffodil appeal.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is appealing for people to make a donation and wear a daffodil pin during March, for its Great Daffodil Appeal 2014.
The charity also needs volunteer collectors. A street collection will take place in Durham City on Saturday, March 22.
Community fundraiser Charlotte Flowers said: “We need as many people as possible to help with our collections this March.
“Donating just one or two hours of your time will allow Marie Curie to provide more free care to terminally ill people and their families at the time when they most need support.”
