POLICE are appealing for information after a string of burglaries.
Three men were arrested following a break-in at a house on Chatsworth Street South, Sunderland, shortly before 2am on Monday (February 17).
The men, aged 20, 28 and 37, have all been bailed pending further enquiries.
A fourth man, aged 37, was charged with going equipped to burgle.
In a separate incident also on Monday morning, at about 4.30am, a 63-reg grey Nissan Juke was stolen after its keys were taken from a house on Leechmere Road.
The car has still not been found.
Finally, between 10pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday, a handbag and other items were stolen during a break-in at a house on Hampstead Road.
Anyone with information on any of the incidents is asked to call Northumbria Police on 101.
