A YOUNG-AT-HEART great-grandmother celebrated her 103rd birthday with a party for friends and family.
Irene Gray, known to friends as Bunny, has been a resident at Hambleton Grange care home, in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, since January.
The mother-of-three moved there earlier this year from another home in the town.
Eve Dunwell, a care assistant at Hambleton Grange, described Mrs Gray as ‘very friendly and popular’.
She added: “She is very active at times and likes to party, but she also likes to have a lie-in sometimes as well.”
Staff and residents at the home sang Happy Birthday to Mrs Gray on Tuesday (February 18) and shared a cake with her.
A party for friends and family was held later in the day.
