A NEW art club aimed at four to seven-year-olds is being launched at a North-East museum.
The Bowes Museum Minis After School Club will meet at the Barnard Castle complex for the first time on Thursday, February 27.
It will then run every Thursday from 3.45pm to 4.45pm during term time, at a cost of £1 per child per week.
Amy Bainbridge, the museum's education co-ordinator, said: “We’ll be looking at the amazing collections and creating artwork around them in a fun and friendly way.
“There’ll be plenty of opportunities for hands-on activities involving clay, printing and silk painting.”
The museum also runs a successful junior after school club for eight to 11-year-olds.
