Where? Locomotion, National Railway Museum, Shildon.
When? from Saturday, until Feb 23.
More than 20,000 rail fans are expected to visit the Locomotion museum at Shildon for a last-ever chance to see six iconic locomotives together.
This is the final opportunity to see all six A4 locomotives together before the repatriated locomotive return to their home museums. Open 9:30am-5:00pm.

Music lovers will be flocking to the Yorkshire coast this weekend for a celebration of song and dance.
There are a 100 events, 80 of them are free, spread over three days. Acts include: Brand New Heavies (Supported by Nubiyan Twist), Clare Teal & the Community Big Band, Kate Peters, The Heavy Horns and the Demon Barbers with ‘The Lock In Dance Show’. There is a free Acoustic Lounge and DJ Mister Tooley entertains with some friends in The Engine Room through to the early hours.
Rollercoastival again brings lots of free activities for children; and young people can find loads of events down at The Street. Local artists open their studios and galleries and there are lots of other unique and special events – not forgetting Orpheus the Mariner and a world record attempt for the largest puppet.

Discover a world of myths and legends around York. Taking the fantastical Norse myths & legends as inspiration we have created over 80 unique events throughout the festival, including sword fighting workshops,crafts, lectures and tours as well as dramatic combat performances, music and archaeological expert sessions.

Harp and flute played by Lucy Wakeford and Kathryn Thomas, two young but already experienced international soloists and ensemble players. The programme ranges from Gounod's divine melody overlaying Bach to Piazolla's Histoire de Tango. As well as being a member of the Nash Ensemble, Lucy is currently principal harp with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and a member of the Britten Sinfonia. She was previously principal harp with the Philharmonia Orchestra for from 2001 to 2011. Kathryn Thomas is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, and has been made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music for distinction in the music profession. As a member of the Galliard Ensemble she regularly appears as a recitalist and chamber musician at venues such as the Wigmore Hall, the South Bank Centre, Bridgewater Hall and at festivals including the BBC Proms. She is frequently broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and internationally. 01325-486555.

Join Alice and her friends for some wonderland fun. While the children are off school why not have a rest and let us do the entertaining. Fun and games with the Mad Hatter, a treasure hunt in the gardens and entertainment from Alice are some of the activities taking place. Not forgetting the white rabbit making an appearance around the gardens.
