HUNDREDS of pounds were raised to help the disabled in Darlington recently.
Recent events held at The Slaters Arms pub have netted £405 for the Darlington Association on Disability (D.A.D).
Pig-racing nights and other fundraising activities saw regulars at the family-run pub dig deep into their pockets for the good cause.
Pub proprietor John Wilson and his staff were keen to see the money go to a local organisation, with Mr Wilson chosing D.A.D because they helped his father before his death.
