NEW sessions have started in Hunwick encouraging more beginners to lace up their running shoes.
Beginners running is being set up by Hunwick Harriers and will take place on Mondays and Thursdays at Hunwick Recreational Ground.
The sessions are part of the Active Men’s Programme led by Durham County Council’s Three Towns Area Action Partnership, are open to new runners of all ages and cost £1.
They take place on Mondays between 6pm and 7pm and Thursdays between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

Even though the sessions are part of the Active Men's programme, they are open to both men and women.
Hunwick Harriers run sessions for those aged seven and above.
